- Kim Kardashian revealed how she is handling the coronavirus pandemic.
- Twitter previously trolled her for posting selfies and saying she’s sending everyone love.
- Her company Skims pledged to donate 20 percent of profits to Baby2Baby’s response program.
Update, 3/27: Tied to the restock of Skims’ Solutionwear, Kim Kardashian pledged to donate $1 million more to families affected by coronavirus. Kim released a statement saying:
“On Monday, we’re restocking the collection we first launched with, and in doing so, are able to help bring relief to those affected by this pandemic….Our six-month anniversary has fallen in the middle of a global crisis so more than ever, it’s our responsibility to give back and do what we can to help others.”
Original Story, 3/19: Unfortunately, coronavirus continues to affect many people across the world, and celebrities like the Kardashians are no different. Since the government has recommended everyone stay inside, people have tried getting creative with how they pass the time. While some celebs have posted ill-advised content about the pandemic (looking at you, Vanessa Hudgens and Gal Gadot), Kim Kardashian just took a second to reveal how the virus is affecting her family and beg everyone to stay inside.
A few days ago, Kim told her followers that she started going through all her old photos because she was bored, and it seems like she’s continued to do that while practicing social distancing. Yesterday, while organizing her camera roll, Kim found one that reminded her of her sisters, who she can’t be around right now for health and safety reasons. She posted a throwback of her and Khloé Kardashian and wrote:
“Miss my sisters, but we are all social distancing and staying away from each other all separately self-quarantined. It’s hard but we have to do this for our safety and for everyone else’s. PLEASE do not ignore the severity of the warnings to stay inside to stop the spread of this virus. We will all get through this!”
Okay, no matter what you think about the Kardashians, Kim is absolutely correct in this instance. Everyone should stay home if they can afford to.

On top of that, Kim committed to donating 20 percent of Skims’ profits to Baby2Baby’s response program, which is committed to providing essentials to babies in need. According to a Skims rep, “Over the last five days, Baby2Baby has distributed over 1.3 million items including diapers, formula, hygiene, clothing, blankets and more,” so every bit counts.
